HTC Launch the new Windows Phone 8X and 8s for India Today

We are in India for the launch of the new HTC Windows Phone 8 Devices, including the Windows Phone 8X and the 8S. We will get you cover by cover so stay tuned to Technosapien
HTC Windows Phone 8X will Be HTC’s flagship running Windows Phone 8 operating system, which was officially released on the 29th of October. It features a completely new approach to Windows Phone 8 Devices with a new polycarbonate unibody design and a list of new bright colors. The HTC Windows Phone 8X features a 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4 processor, a 4.3 inch display, 16GB of inbuilt storage and 1GB of RAM. WiFi a/b/g/n, NFC and an integrated 1,800mAh Li-ion battery. There’s also quadband radio support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE, HSPA/WCDMA (850, 900, 1900, 2100MHz) and LTE where available.
The HTC Windows Phone 8S also features similar builds but has a dual tone look. The display is a rather sharp 4-inch, 720p screen. For memory there’s 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage, with room for an additional 32GB via microSD expansion. That actually puts it above the 8X, which is stuck at 16GB of space thanks to its lack of expandable memory support.

7.85-inch Apple iPad mini to arrive in 2012

The latest news indicate that the once-expected iPad mini may actually be launched in 2012, finally putting to rest Steve Jobs’ famous prediction that any tablet less than 9.7-inches is just too small.
In the past, the iPad mini was one of the speculated contenders for the title of the third-generation iPad, but instead, what officially arrived could be called the iPad HD, featuring a Retina Display, amongst other hardware changes, such as a better processor, GPU, and camera.

Apple has placed orders for roughly six million 7.85-inch iPad mini tablets. Apple apparently will ship them by the end of the year, or even in the third quarter, managing to meet Windows 8 and Google’s budget tablet competition at the same time.

One of the companie report that the 7.85-inch iPad mini is expected to sell for roughly $249 to $299.

Windows 8 Will Come in Four Versions

After years of criticism that the OS came in too many different editions, Microsoft's move should eliminate much of the confusion

Finally! After years a slightly different versions of the same operating system, Microsoft announced today that Windows 8 will come in only four versions: One for home use, one for business, one for devices running ARM chips, and one for large enterprises who buy in bulk.
For most people buying an operating system for a traditional desktop or laptop, the choice will be between just two versions. The version called simply "Windows 8" is designed for home users. "Windows 8 Pro" is for business users and includes features for encrypting a file system, virtualization, and domain management.

"Windows RT" is the new name for what had been called Windows on ARM. You won't be able to purchase it on its own; It'll come pre-installed on PCs and tablets that run ARM processors. Windows RT won't be able to run traditional X86/64 desktop software. Instead, it'll run touch-oriented apps based on Windows Runtime (or WinRT), Microsoft's programming model for mobile apps. Apps for the touch-oriented Metro interface are built using Windows Runtime.
Windows RT will come with special touch-oriented versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
